We conduct coaching for students for the  UPSC CDS and OTA written examination. The Coaching is being professionally organized personally by Col MS Dhillon(Retd) at Ace Olive Greens Academy Panchkula Chandigarh. A highly competent and committed team of faculty comprising of well qualified mentors from their respective spheres cover the syllabi as laid down by UPSC and the coaching is oriented to cover various aspects of the examination after analysing the previous papers, The entire syllabi including current affairs and GK are being covered in the coaching. Lot of questions which have been covered during the coaching classes appear in the final UPSC examination. The Ace Olive Greens  institute issues its own booklets which have been prepared after extensive analysis and are constantly refined. CDS Exam Schedule and Institutions

The CDS Written Examination is conducted by UPSC twice every Year. The Notification for the CDS written exam is issued in the months of March and October. UPSC holds the exam in the months of Feb and Sep. The CDS exam is conducted to fill the vacancies of the following institutions.

• Indian Military Academy Dehradun (IMA).
• Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala for Naval Executive Branch.
• Air Force Academy Hyderabad
• Officers Training Academy Chennai. (OTA) for both Men and Women
   

Conditions of Eligibility for CDS written Exam
 

AGE : 19 and half to 24 years. For OTA the age is 19 to 25. This age is calculated on the date of joining the IMA. Please check with the exact dates given in the notification.
EDUCATION: Graduate qualified or appearing are eligible to sit for CDS written exam. For Air Force and Navy the CDS exam aspirants must have engineering /physics and mathematics as subjects. For details check the notification.
SEX: only male candidates can sit for the CDS written exam. Females can apply for OTA

You can apply for the CDS written examination online only. To apply online for the CDS written exam please visit the UPSC website. Offline application by filling and sending a form has been discontinued from CDS ii 2011 onwards.

Scheme of Examination
The CDS written exam consists of three papers, One on General Knowledge second on English and the last on Mathematics. All three papers of the CDS written exam are held on the same day and each paper is ot two  hours each. The papers of CDS written exam are of 100 marks each and the total of the CDS written exam is of 300 marks.
OTA candidates have to give the GK and English Written exam only. Maths is not required for them

Results of CDS Written Examination
The result of CDS written exam is declared by the UPSC three to four months after the written exam. It is available on the UPSC website

About OTA Examination -

The OTA Written Examination is conducted by UPSC twice every Year. The Notification for the OTA written exam is issued in the months of March and October. OTA exam is common with the CDS exam, the only difference is the candidates for OTA do not have to give maths paper unlike the CDS candidate
